Running with Danny
Dogs in Canada web site ran an article that couldn't go better with the topic of our latest podcast - running with a dog. In it Donna Palmer tells us how it is to run with her Doberman Danny.
"It’s 3 a.m. and the ‘Danny’ boy is getting restless. He’s just heard the alarm clock and currently his face is in mine, staring, softly whimpering and clearly wondering why I’m still prone. I struggle to wake up, but he’s instantly ready, and anxious to hit the road. He’s a diehard runner, and so am I, and although some would question our sanity to run at this early hour, we don’t. We just run. We’ve been doing this for years now, at first just to beat the Texas summer, but now because we need it to start our day."
