Did the New York Marathon Offer $100K to a 100 Yr Old Runner?

Think of the buzz a 100-year-old running the New York Marathon would generate. It’s easily worth the $100k they would pay to Singh. But the question is – have they really made the offer or is this an exaggeration or a pr stunt hoping to result in an offer?

A 98-year-old marathon runner has set his sights on breaking the world record for the oldest ever marathon runner

One option is to run one at the age of 100. The New York City marathon have offered him $100,000 to do that, and of course he'd give all of that to charity.
